Kia Ora! Thanks for your interest in learning more about New Zealand Adventure Co. My name is Karen Pettit and I have been the company's proud Director since April, 2001. That's me to the left with my husband, Erik, a native of East Hampton, New York.
As a seventh generation New Zealander, I am committed to representing my exciting and beautiful area of the world with integrity, innovation and the constant product knowledge improvement. It's that knowledge and local connection that allows New Zealand Adventure Co. to deliver consistently out-of-the-ordinary New Zealand vacations to our clients. We take your safety and your comfort very seriously and it is to this end that we are always in touch with our accommodation, activity, rental vehicle and transfer providers to ensure they are meeting our standards. An example of our commitment to your safety is our policy to avoid the need for you to get behind the wheel of your rental vehicle after a long flight, rather we have our private drivers collect you from the airport, drive you safely to your accommodation and then have your own vehicle dropped off at your accommodation after a restful night's sleep. We book only accommodations that we are personally familiar with; this may sound simple but you would be amazed how many travel companies book accommodation without knowing anything about a property's location, quality or management. Our activity partners are our partners because we have personally selected them to be so.
Unlike many of New Zealand Adventure Co.'s competitors, we do not sell all and any of the services available in New Zealand. As with any destinations, there are great operators and those that are less scrupulous, falsely purporting to have fine services by way of their online marketing or by some other promotional means. At New Zealand Adventure Co. we sell only operators that we have personally connected with and as such, promote their fabulous products. We pride ourselves on these close connections with our suppliers and on some of the most exhaustive product knowledge in the industry. As a testament to the quality of our services, many of our clients, on returning from their New Zealand vacation, volunteer verbal testimonials to anyone wishing to learn about our company from a past client.
